Annual Gear Up Conference held at WSU Tri Cities

WSU Tri Cities will be holding the annual Gear Up conference on campus this year, March 17 – 18. The theme for this year’s conference will be “Partnering for Long-Term Student Success.” One of the goals for this year’s conference is share effective strategies and to network with other colleges.
There will be two main speakers during the conference, the first speaker is Aric Bostick. Bostick is one America’s top youth success and leadership speakers. The second main speaker is Dr. Frances Contreras will be leading a study on the Hispanic students achievement act commissioned by the Washington State Legislature.
